We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and modern facilities at the youth hostel. The communal areas were especially impressive, providing a comfortable and stylish space to relax. The breakfast offered a great variety of options, including free specialty coffee. The lockers in the dormitory were also a convenient feature for storing our belongings securely.

While our stay was enjoyable overall, we did find it inconvenient not to have wifi access in our room. Having to walk outside to the communal space in the rain was a bit of a hassle.

Staff can speak very good English. facilities towards bathroom and shower are clean.. the dormitary is really good and comfortable, and I meet some really good friends from Taiwan, Switherland, Germany that help me a lot.. nice experience!

Only in reception area, I could get wifi.. not too many electric plugs.

We stayed at this hotel for a family vacation and had a wonderful time. The hosts were very friendly and the accommodation was exactly as described. The location was quiet, with a great view of the snow-capped mountains from our room. The rooms were very clean, with comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. The shared facilities were also well-maintained. We opted for the set dinner menu and it was well priced. The breakfast had a good selection and the Swiss milk was delicious. The outside deck had fantastic views and the hotel provided a free public transport card. it was a great value for a family of four and we highly recommend this hotel.

Very friendly staff. Very clean common toilets and showers. Was worried about some bedbug reviews lately but there were none in our room. Included in the price is free In-town bus service. Bus service is limited 6:30am to 7:30pm or so. Taxi costs 18 swiss francs and 2 franc tip was recieved well. Even if you figure in taxi service to and from hotel multiple times this hostel is outstanding value for money. Infact the location makes up for magical views.

None. Only take a cab after a dinner down in the town. Otherwise it is a steep climb.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the youth hostel in Grindelwald. The views from the rooms were absolutely breathtaking, with a fantastic view of The Eiger and other mountains. The hostel itself was very clean and well-maintained. The breakfast provided was top-notch, with plenty of options to choose from. The staff were incredibly helpful and efficient, ensuring that everything ran smoothly during my stay. Additionally, the size of the 4-bed room was great, and the lockers provided were spacious. I had a fantastic experience.

One drawback I encountered was the lack of elevators in the main building. The wooden stairs were a bit scary to navigate, especially with luggage.

I definitely choose to stay this Youth Hostel again!

Staff were so friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and great size for a family of four. Breakfast which was included was superb. Home made bircher musli with fresh honey and great coffee. Highly recommended to any age or group.

As backpackers, we loved the upgraded room with only four beds, giving us a more comfortable and private experience. the chatty receptionists added a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. the clean toilets were a definite plus.

I really got my money's worth at this hostel! The room was clean and had plenty of shelves for our things. Also, the view from the room was amazing. The location was convenient, with easy access to the ski slopes and a nice terrace with a magnificent view of the mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful.
